The account statement is the home screen
It is not a dashboard. It is a list of balances, and what has not arrived is at the top.
A balance is a subtraction, not a checkbox
A charge and a payment are two different things, and the balance comes from subtracting one from the other. That is why a partial payment looks like what it is — $120 of $400 — instead of a half-ticked box.
Three states, and nothing else
Current, due soon, overdue. Every contract is in one of the three, and the colour on screen means that: if you see amber, something is due.
Balances are grouped by currency
Adding different currencies together would produce a number that is not money. If you collect in two, you see two totals.
Since when, not just how much
Every overdue balance carries the days it has been late. «39 days» is a different conversation from «3 days», and the number decides it for you.
