Rentia has not opened yet. This page explains how we intend to work; the definitive version, reviewed by a lawyer, is published before launch. If anything you read here matters to you, write to us and we will answer with what is already decided.
What the service is
Rentia records charges and payments and shows you the balance that results from subtracting them. It is a tracking tool, not an intermediary between you and your tenant.
It is not legal or accounting advice
Rentia does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice. Contract templates are an editable starting point and should be reviewed by a lawyer before they are signed. We do not claim a document produced in Rentia is valid in your jurisdiction.
We do not hold money
Rentia does not receive, hold or transfer rent payments. Money moves directly between you and your tenant.
The numbers come from what you enter
The balance is correct if the charges and payments you logged are correct. Rentia does not verify against your bank or any other source, so the information it shows is only as good as what you gave it.
Subscription
The free plan does not expire. Rentia Pro is billed monthly or yearly and can be cancelled whenever you want; cancellation runs to the end of the period already paid for. On the phone, the subscription is managed by the app store.
